Plot Summary:

     The emperor is stricken with a mysterious illness, and Lu Xiaofeng (played by Lam Fung) is ordered to investigate. In the process, the long-forgotten ancient kingdom of the Golden Peng Dynasty resurfaces, drawing in Princess Shangguan Fengdan (played by Lan Xi), a descendant of its royal line. It turns out the emperor was actually poisoned by a sinister curse, and the only one capable of curing it is hiding within the Golden Peng Dynasty. Uncovering the true mastermind behind this plot becomes Lu Xiaofeng’s top priority.

　　Within the imperial court, fear and unrest reign, with undercurrents of intrigue simmering. Lu Xiaofeng’s investigation has reached an impasse, making progress exceedingly difficult. At his most trying moment, he befriends the renowned physician Hua Manlou (played by Zhang Xiaolong) and the Sword Saint Xi Men Chuixue, forging a deep bond among the three. Meanwhile, a young woman named A Xin (played by Zhang Meng) quietly supports and aids Hua Manlou; even knowing that Hua Manlou loves Princess Fengdan, she nonetheless dedicates herself wholeheartedly, offering everything she has.
