Plot Summary:

When she awoke, she mistakenly believed she had been rescued by Xiang Yingdong, Xiang Hanchuan’s younger brother, and felt deeply grateful. Meanwhile, the Japanese businessman Maeda, who had murdered Jinxiu’s entire family, tracked her all the way to Shanghai. Seeking to dominate the city’s economy, he resorted to ruthless tactics to bring Mingzhu under his control—forcing her to shuttle between the Xiang brothers and relentlessly tormenting Jinxiu. After enduring countless trials and tribulations, Jinxiu and Zuo Zhen finally found their way to one another.
