Plot Summary:

Xiao Shuiguang (played by Li Xirui) becomes despondent after tragically losing her boyfriend, Yu Jinglan. Following a teaching mishap, she crosses paths with Zhang Zhenlan (played by Jiang Chao), the CEO of a gaming company and an older student. Zhang Zhenlan recognizes in Shuiguang the very girl who once inspired his game ideas and begins to pursue her. Throughout their courtship, Shuiguang remains guarded, carrying the weight of her past. To help her open up, Zhang Zhenlan promises, “You keep your secrets, and I’ll guard you.” Moved by his sincerity, Shuiguang gradually starts to let go of her inner barriers. As their bond deepens, Jiang Yuru’s return from abroad becomes an obstacle to their love. Meanwhile, Luo Zhi confesses his feelings to Shuiguang, but she chooses to run away. In the end, upon learning of Zhang Zhenlan’s true intentions, Jiang Yuru steps aside; Luo Zhi, burdened by his connection to Yu Jinglan’s death, decides to release her. Just as Zhang Zhenlan and Shuiguang are on the verge of reuniting, the truth behind that fateful car accident surfaces, plunging Zhang Zhenlan’s gaming company into a severe financial crisis. Through everyone’s concerted efforts, the storm eventually passes, and Shuiguang finally opens her heart, bravely embracing Zhang Zhenlan’s love.
