Plot Summary:

The series is set in the early 1930s, when Japan had occupied China’s three northeastern provinces. On a train traveling from Harbin to Fengtian, Japanese forces are secretly preparing for biological warfare, covertly relocating relevant biochemical experts and critical supplies. Meanwhile, the puppet Manchukuo Central Bank plans to smuggle a massive hoard of gold by rail, while Kuomintang agent “Crow” plots to blow up the train and seize the treasure. In addition, a Communist underground stronghold in the area comes under attack by Crow, prompting Lin Shengnan, captain of an Anti-Japanese United Army special‑operations team, to launch an operation to capture him. With all sides converging, the story unfolds along the more than six-hundred‑kilometer South Manchurian Railway, culminating in a Chinese‑style train heist.
