Plot Summary:

     The eldest daughter, Chunya, devoted herself to shouldering the heavy responsibilities of the Song family and the Simao tea industry. Under her father’s guidance, she grew into an outstanding head of the household and was appointed president of the Simao Chamber of Commerce. Long ago, she buried deep in her heart her profound affection for Tan Lie, the long‑lost scion of the Tan clan to whom she had once been betrothed, yet she was forced to marry Cha Zhaicai, a Burmese man of complicated loyalties. Her second daughter, Xia Lan, was manipulated by Zheng Shaoyi, one of Long Shouyun’s men, and ended up marrying against her will, passing by Zhou Jingheng, the man she had truly loved.
