Plot Summary :

　　The kind-hearted poor scholar An Youyu (Qiu Xinzhi) One day, while gathering flowers and herbs on the mountain, An Youyu stumbled upon Xiong Dacheng, Ma Zicai, and their gang, who were rounding up several fragrant serows. Unable to bear witnessing their plight, An Youyu stepped forward to protect them, even at great personal risk. His selfless act caught the attention of one of the young serows—little Xiangzi, who had already attained spiritual cultivation and gone by the name Hua Guzi (played by Zhang Ting). To repay An Youyu for saving her life, Hua Guzi remained by his side, fending off the bullies’ harassment. Yet, in trying to help, she only ended up making matters worse, drawing countless troubles upon him. Meanwhile, Zhong Suqiu (played by Wang Yan), who had emerged from An Youyu’s painting, found herself entangled in a series of bizarre events. After much effort, Hua Guzi finally managed to take human form and fell deeply in love with An Youyu. But as a being of both human and spirit, their paths were destined to part—so what fate awaits these two?
