Plot Summary :

　　Twenty-two years ago, the celestial fairy San Shengmu (Yu Li) slipped away from Heaven. She descended to the mortal realm carrying a magic lamp and met the scholar Liu Yanchang (played by Kwok Jin-on). The two fell deeply in love. Yet, as heaven and earth are worlds apart, the Third Holy Mother, having violated the heavenly laws, was imprisoned in the mountains, leaving behind the scholar, their child, and the mysterious Lotus Lamp, which has since vanished without a trace.

　　Twenty-two years later, the child of the Third Holy Mother, Liu Chenxiang (Lin Zhiying) Shi has grown into a well-behaved, sensible young man, caring for his father who has fallen into despair, and studying magic under the hermit Tian Lei (played by Xu Jinjiang). The little fairy Taxue (played by Shen Ao-jun), on the Empress Mother’s orders to find the Precious Lotus Lamp, happens upon Chenxiang, who is gathering medicinal herbs in the mountains, and the two hit it off immediately. At that moment, Taxue unwittingly discovers a lamp that appears ordinary yet conceals a hidden mystery—and it turns out to be the Precious Lotus Lamp.
