Plot Summary:

Adapted from the story of Liu Heizai of the Dongjiang Column during the Anti-Japanese War, it tells the tale of a man nicknamed Liu Heizai. A fiery‑tempered young man, fiercely opposed to evil, who was mischievous from childhood yet deeply loyal and righteous. To save a friend, he spent seven years in prison; upon his release, he joined the Party and became part of the anti‑Japanese armed forces under its leadership. He hunted down local bandits and traitors, rescued democratic activists, and cleverly captured his arch‑enemy—Tojo Masayuki, the head of the Japanese secret service in Hong Kong—leaving a legendary mark that struck fear into both the Japanese and their collaborators across Hong Kong and Kowloon.
