Mixing engineer
Job Responsibilities:
1. Post-production audio for films and television series;
2. Includes dialogue editing, sound effects editing, and motion graphics editing;
3. Independently handle the mixing of films and television series;
4. Complete tasks on time and to the required quality, in accordance with project specifications.
Job Requirements:
1. At least 2 years of experience in audio production;
2. Quick-thinking, able to grasp client requirements, highly responsible, proactive and enthusiastic, with strong communication skills and a robust ability to collaborate in teams; possesses a strong capacity for continuous learning; willing to work overtime as project needs dictate; upright, with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent time management.
3. Familiar with the post-production sound workflow for film and television;
4. Possesses a solid and comprehensive understanding of music theory and strong musical appreciation skills, able to discern the underlying emotional cues and expressive intentions within a film, and fully grasp the demands this role places on the sound designer’s ability to capture and convey musical emotion.
5. Primarily responsible for selecting music and soundtracks for films, TV series, mashups, and special feature productions;
6. Able to independently handle recording, music and sound effects production, and audio mixing.
7. Proficient in Pro Tools, with hands-on experience in recording, editing, and mixing on any audio platform, and capable of leveraging both hardware and software effects to effectively enhance recording quality and sonic results.
8. Able to handle a certain level of work pressure and adapt to overtime as required by the job and project needs.
