Character effects artist (hair cloth solution)
Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for shaping the character's hair shape, setting the dynamics of the clothing/pendant/skin/hair/hair/feather, and performing the relevant dynamics calculation in the lens according to the requirements of the visual effects supervisor;
2. Be good at observing the subtleties of the characters and understanding the physical characteristics to make artistic retouching;
3, set and solve the role clothing / pendant / hair / fur;
4. Perform a Volume muscle simulation on the body of the protagonist;
5, can solve problems independently, good at optimizing production steps;
6. Have a good art foundation and animation feeling, and have an in-depth study of the laws of motion of real objects (cloths, hair).
7. Make asset hair, set the dynamic effects of character clothing, ornaments, hair, etc. in the simulated lens according to the lens needs and characters;
8, can cooperate with the upstream and downstream groups to ensure smooth process in the production process;
9. Have good professional ethics and enthusiastic working attitude, have high artistic aesthetic ability, modeling ability, like to study all aspects of application software, strong learning ability and team awareness.
job requirements:
1, 2 years of experience in CG special effects simulation work;
2. Proficiency in using Maya nCLOTH/Qualoth/Marvelous Designer or other cloth simulation plug-ins;
3. Master Maya nHair/Yeti/XGen;
4, have Mudbox / Mari draw mapping application experience, understand Arnold rendering application on the hair;
5. Basic knowledge of Modeling, Rigging, Animation, EFX, and Shading.
